I am looking for advice re putting some form of agregate in a driveway. The area is 50 metres long and 3 wide. I plan to lay it about 3" thick and have it compacted. My problem is I have been told 20/14 limestone is the only way to go,but I dont want something that light in colour,I prefer something that will go with aTuscan rendered house in Apricot. Has anyone experience of crushed granite or crushed brick.I was told it will disolve. The area is totally flat apart from a reversing bay, which has a very slight rise.I live in Hobart so any suggestions from someone who lives here and knows what is available would be of great help.Wobblygirl.

    G'day,

You can get different driveway toppings, there is one called Tuscan topping, sort of a Mars red colour. Try a few garden supply places.
