Default Repaint window frames before or after rendering?

G'Day,

Pretty simple question I was hoping someone could help me with.

I've got a house full of window frames to repaint as well as get the house rendered.

Logic tells be that I should do the frames first as I'll probably slop paint over my new render, however a couple of render jobs I've seen aren't as schmick as I would like and have slopped a bit on the window frames.

Should I paint first and tape up the windows or tape up and paint post render.

Cheers and thanks in advance!

I would paint first, render should be easy to wipe off new paint but not on old dead paint,

hi,

render can also be difficult to tape to because of the "textured" surface,

i would do prelim coats and leave a coat for touch-up after rendering

thanks

Thanks mate!

Now had a couple of people around to quote and that's exactly what they recommended.

Just needed a verification that it was the way to go.

The "site manager" will not be pleased if her house does not look 100%.

Cheers.
