Thread: Steel frame fence... corrugated iron???

Hi,

I have recently bought a house and I am not a fan of the side fences and gates. They are simply a black steel frame which you can see straight through.

My plan was to screw timber slats to it but I am worried about the weight?? One of the gates is 2.5m and has hinges screwed directly to the house(brick)

I am now thinking about corrugated iron with a timber border??

Any Ideas???

How about just pop riveting some flat sheetmetal on them? I think that would look better than corro.
