Default Sealing bottom of treated pine retaining wall

Hello. I am in the midst of replacing a 1 metre high retaining wall with treated pine, ag pipe & fine ash to go behind the wall for drainage. The old concrete footings are being used on a sloping block, resulting in considerable gaps at the bottom of the wall. The neighbour is understandably not happy with the look. Could anyone please recommend material to seal the gaps at the bottom. Is concrete between the wood and the footing feasible?

The timber will swell or shrink with changes in moisture content so don't expect a good result.

perhaps some sort of flashing could be made to hide the bottom area.

Add some concrete underneath or crushed rock and then cover with dirt, if you had a picture that would help

you could do a 1 sleeper high wall/garden edge a foot in front of the wall then plant it out. The new edge is high enough to cover the gaps at the bottom and plants will help hide the wall....
