Thread: milwaukee drill

hey guys thought id try my luck on here.I have a milwaukee cordless m18 drill with 1.5 ah battery they have got wet and now don't work.I have looked on ebay but they are hard to find.I have read on there that the 3.0 ah bats fit all m18 drills any one know if this is true or will they fry the drill?

They should work, and will do nearly 2 x the work between charges.

Thet will take both , some people prefer the 1.5 ah because they are much lighter.

The 3.0Ah is the amount of "storage" the battery has, the more storage the more running time, but at a cost of a bigger battery pack.

As long as the volts are the same eg: 18V the storage capacity does not matter, it just means you will get longer running time between charges.

Just be careful. Found the 3Ah 18V Li Ion Milwa... one in the workshop wont run the drill. The battery pack seems fine as it works on the grinder. Plug in the 1.5s and drill works.

The Hitachi has been pulled out of the ute many a time instead of having to stuff around with what batt runs what on the Milwa....

The same batt runs both my grinder and drill.
