Default 4" pine chamferboards- where can I find some (QLD)?

    Hello all,

I am seeking some cladding to match the pine chamferboards on my 1951 Brisbane house.

The existing boards are 97x22mm (I am guessing that they started life as 100mm boards and have shrunk in the last 60 years). I need around 45 metres (or 30 lengths of 1.5m or 15 of 3m etc).

I have tried all of the demo yards etc and a few have told me that they haven't seen any for years.

Does anyone know where I could find some, or have them cut for a good price?

    Many thanks!

Finlaysons mill most profiles - dont think they are cheap though. You could also try "A Wood Shed " 3375 1726.

Thanks ringtail- will call A Wood Shed as they aren't too far from our place and it looks like they have everything else we need otherwise!

Otherwise it's Finlaysons, and I've also been told that Camp Hill Timber & Hardware will cut them as well. We'll definitely get some spare lengths milled- I never imagined that our house would have non-standard boards!
