Default Suggestions for Cladding on high building

As it's a shiny new forum I thought I would ask the question again ...with a couple of pics.

My problem is that the house having a high catherdral ceiling I have approx 15 metre roofline on the backside and sides and 9 metres from front and very close to a large surf beach ...so I don't want to repaint every 5 -7 years suggestions other than plastic its looks crap?

Budget is reasonable but cost effective is the way.

Ps To scaffold to paint it is approx $11k so I really want to avoid painting.

I really love the boards you have already. Re scaffold: would it be any cheaper to hire a crane for painting?

The only really low-maintenance thing I can think of would be some kind of stone cladding but I don't think it would fit with the style of the house.

Cecile the house no longer looks like this the boards are rotten and have termite damage they are held together with paint which is 4 years old and starting to peel (not me the previous owner).

I have access issues so I cannot get any equipment down the sides or even crane over hence me looking for a low maintenance option.

The only thing I can think of is to pre-paint Hardie-plank with a good solar reflective product and hope for the best, properly done a paint job should be good for 10 years at least.

These new nanotechnology paints do seem to work better although I do have some minor have reservations about the long term effects of breathing in the paint dust as it weathers off

Anything painted won't last without regular maintenance, you'll need to be cleaning the salt crust off every month or so...
I would be looking at a stack stone option over blue board or similar. Have a look at these guys, although its only sandstone, there are plenty of different options available out there... Sandstone Walling/Cladding Options | Gosford Quarries
Hardiplank or similar would be another (but ugly) cheaper option.

Andy; I have seen one of the new type of textured acrylics last 15 years at Falls Creek snow fields, the beach is a doddle after Alpine exposure, I painted a house in Northcote VIC 20 years ago with X-10 acrylic and when I drove past my old house last year it still looked good, modern paints are very superior technology. I would say 10 years minimum if properly done the first time
