Default Need help or ideas badly

I am currently building on a hill and had to cut into it to give myself a large area in front of my shed like courtyard/parking area as such, after digging i found only beach sand as a base. I got a road base and stone and come up great, but after big rains nearly 2 months ago water is still soaking through the ground and i cannot get rid of it. If anyone has any ideas would b greatly appreciated.
I thought about digging a deep trench and filling with stone on the hill side of the cut and aggi pipe into the stream where it is a constant flow at the moment but would appreciate any ideas and help

As it is a building site I would simply cut a trench through the guts about 300mm deep to allow the water to drainaway assuming the spot the photo is taken from is the low point. Once dry you can start to work out how to effectively drain the water getting away. If the site was sand I would have thought it would soak in so you probably have clay underneath. Your ground will probably have water issues every time there is a wet winter, the balance is making sure not to over drain as that can cause problems in the summer months.
You will need to consider your grounds levels when finished and how to drain to the fall.

Looks to me like a drainage trench across the back, with, as you say agi pipe covered with screenings, coming down the low side to.....wherever is good.
Maybe talk to a local building inspector or hydrologist (if you know one), would probably give you a good idea.
    good luck,

I'm wondering if, including a trench/aggie drain around edge, you also had grid of trenches/aggie drains all falling to a point of dispersal.

A hydrologist is your best bet, we used them a few times for water issues, they solved it everytime.

Problem with water is if you don't know exactly what you are doing, you can chase your tail forever trying to get rid of it, and never succeed.
