Question linseed putty alternative

Is anybody aware of an alternative to linseed oil putty for window glazing? Specifically, one that may harden much faster to stop those time when a stray finger sticks in it as you rehang them
The finish wil be clear so I think builders bog and other coloured 2 pac fillers won't do.

Cheers
Michael

And a little bit of silicon so they don't rattle or let a draft in
