I have no idea but selling by the internet has bought out a lot of deadbeats who say they will buy but don’t turn up.

i saw a Telstra TV module for sale on FB in Nambour but the catch was I wouldn’t be there for 6 weeks so I told the seller I would buy it but in the interim if you get a buyer sell it to them. I contacted them when I was there and they said they had 4 buyers but I was the only one who turned up.

Gotta admit I've had some bad experiences with Gumtree too.

They dont call be Scumtree for nothing.

I'm quite a good buyer on Gumtree, I'll arrive when I say I will and when I get there won't offer a lower than the agreed price over email/phone.

I hate selling on Scumtree, so many time wasters.

Here is an example. Originally listed at $40 (I'm the seller).

Notice the time and the dates and price.

I actually increased the price because he was annoying me! lol

And I never give my address unless I speak to them over the phone.

He never did pick it up so if anyone needs a cheap mirror....

lol... they are actually bulky thongs.

I thought $30 or even $40 was fair a mirror.

I think I had a couple of people who said they will take it, I give them a call and they don't reply.

A lot of Scumtreers have manners whatsoever and hence why I can't be bothered selling stuff there.

    Mirror still available.

I rarely sell stuff but recently have sold a couple of new items on Ebay when they had the 0% final value fee offer. Usually final value fee is nearly 10%!

I use socks in sandals. Much neater than showing my poorly maintained toe nails. The only problem is when the nails poke through the socks.
I use socks with my fancy Havaianas too ...

I have to buy myself a pair of this. Look nice and cozy.

    I'm a havainans guy myself.

My parents bought them in Asia.

I would never buy them myself or wear them in public but they are practical to slip on in the garage if you're wearing socks.

Socks and normal thongs don't mix well due the rubber strap inbetween your toes. Unless you have socks that look like gloves.

I am surprised you say that.
Instructions to use Havaianas with socks ... (no not havaiabananas)
This is what you do. Stand in front of the dinner table with your socks on, preferably when no one is eating.
Put your right foot on the table with the toes pointing to the ceiling.
Grab the sock between your thumb and index and pull the sock up about the same length of your big toe. The bigger the toe the more you need to pull. (very important)
Now push the surplus sock between your big toe and your other one with your index finger all the way down.
Slip your Havaiana on and feel the comfort of socks on Havaianas.
    Repeat with your left foot.
    Note:
If you are unable to reach your toes with your heel on the table, you are fat and stiff and it is not the fault of the socks or the Havaianas for that matter. Go on a diet and join a gym ...

I just recycle my old Blundstone boots, buy a new pair and run the old ones through the bandsaw.

A mate had a pair of steel capped slip ons like those from Sweden which they call Clogs! Who knows why...

Gumtree is full of those Numskulls who promise to buy stuff but don't show up. Why do they even waste their own time calling
