Hello - Victorian House Renovation

Hello to all from Bolton, NW England.
I'm currently waiting on completion of the legal side before getting the keys to a house.

Built in 1898 and hardly a thing done to it since other than a few piecemeal installed PVCU windows and some polystyrene backed wall paper.

I'll be doing the bulk of the work DIY. Im here to ask advice and gain knowledge/tips for the adventure ahead.
