Hi there chaps 'tally ho and all that'. Sorry for the corny intro but I'm from over the water in not so sunny UK wishing I was with most of you in the land of plenty. Well plenty of most but I hear not all, especially not water.
It is with water, and the saving thereof, that brings me down under to let you know that I have found a very DIY way of saving clean unused water in the home. This is basically a retro device but with all you builders there, DIY or otherwise, you might like to consider putting it as you build the house or undertake those forever renovations we all seem to get into.
Well . . . "This is it" (sorry Michael to pinch the latest sound bite) but have you ever wanted a cheap easy way to save all that cold water that you pour down the drain while you wait for the hot water to arrive at the hot tap. Well a great little device called the 'Hydrosave' from Hydrosaveonline can do it automatically for you saving anything up to 2,000 gallons of water and beyond !
If you want to know more, send me a mail.
I look forward to talking with the DIYers later to get more tips and ideas as I renovate my house.
By the way I'm into field hockey, electronics and work in a school as a Premises Manager so have to deal with lots of building thingys.
Cheers for now and G'day.![]()
Wasn't this an Australian invention?![]()

I got one of those, I call it a bucket in the other sink. I use it for watering the tomatoes.
lol @ bucket...
So if this device can save you 2000 "gallons" of water (per year??) and water costing a whole $3.70 a kilolitre (1000ltrs), why wouldn't you use a 99cent bucket...
