SAT - satellite, eg for a foxtel box to the dish
FTA - free to air, connecting TV to a regular TV antennae
EOC - Ethernet over coax. Likely (once) connected to another box supplying two Ethernet ports (eg for a LAN, local area network for PCs).
i got curious and pulled the sockets, i have 4 wall sockets for the tv and ethernet over coax, but 2 cables from the wall and a connector doubling up the cables to 4 sockets.
anyone tell me what these metal boxes do and what all the sockets are for?
