whats the deal with these sockets?? i got curious and pulled the sockets, i have 4 wall sockets for the tv and ethernet over coax, but 2 cables from the wall and a connector doubling up the cables to 4 sockets.
anyone tell me what these metal boxes do and what all the sockets are for?

what are those metal boxes? splitters of some sort??
I believe they are probably diplexer’s, for combining or splitting the signal. They are somewhat different from a traditional splitter you use on normal TV antenna.Originally Posted by wozzzzza
