    Default Wider Spaced Power Boards

Does anyone know of a make of Power Board which has the sockets spaced wider apart to cater for the transformers that are present with just about any electrical item like Mobile Phone charger.

It would be more practical to have the transformer a distance of 150mm from the plug so we can plug in more than 1 appliance in a double power point.

I have looked around but can not locate anything with wide spaced sockets.

Have often seen them with one or two spaced sockets on a 6 or 8 power board, others have have normal spacing on one side and wider spacing on the other
JB hi-fi , most computer shops and the local computer fair always have them , as well as bunnies, the brand though ? Mine is king power 6 sockets 2 wide spaced I got it at the local computer fair a couple of years ago , but its also a surge protector with phone line protection paid $15 from memory

I just use every second socket on a six-socket power board - guess the extra space might help cooling.

I bought several with 3 wide space and 3 normal space outlets a few years ago. Can't remember the exact price but I'm pretty sure it was less than $5 each (though that was at Chickenfeed). Not sure of the brand though.

    You might find something here?

Problem is you'll pay a fortune for them. Just get yourself a couple of cheaper 6 outlet boards and stick a surge protector on them.
