    Default Gap filling

Was wondering if there's a product available, perhaps in a caulking tube that I could use to fill say 2mm gaps between a joist and bearer and for that couple mm gap between post stirrups and bearers that I seem to get when doubling bearers due to inconsistency. Is there a non shrink timber grout.I've thought of using maybe like a chemset style compound? I suppose I could cut slithers of wood shim, what a pain in that ass that'd be!

Is it really necessary to fill the gaps! When laminating timber, clamp it first.

Buy some plastic wedges and cut off the residue.
