Are kitchen cabinets for 40mm benchtops same as cabinets for 20mm benchtops

    Default Are kitchen cabinets for 40mm benchtops same as cabinets for 20mm benchtops

    Is there any special prep / change required for installation of a 40mm benchtop?
    I understand a 40mm benchtop is an apron installed around the edges.
    Does the 40mm apron come out over the front of the cabinet meaning we need shorter doors?
    Or does it sit on top of the cabinet?

    If it sits on the cabinet do I have to put 20mm supports through the cabinet top where there isn't an apron?
