Default Shoe cabinet drawers won’t stay shut

The fronts on a mirrored shoe cabinet seem too heavy and the drawers keep falling open - even when empty. I think this is Aldi flat pack cabinet.

I have another (non-mirrored) Aldi flat pack shoe cabinet, with drawers that are similar inside but stay shut.

Bunnings has door catches that might work for the top 2 drawers, but there is no upper surface to fix to on the bottom two drawers. Looking at some pictures online, it looks like they might not work if positioned on the side.

I want to spend as little as possible!

    Any other ideas?

    Take the mirrors off?

Or counter weight on the back to offset the mirror.

The mirrors need to stay as they are attached to the front panels - and are the key design feature!

go with droog, add some wieght to the rear of the shoe pocket

or just buy a $3 magnetic door latch from Bunnings and small metal angle bracket and just screw them to the side and the front?

    Yep, counterweight or magnets
