Default unable to get a hole saw in small space.

    Problem.

Have a cupboard above newly installed range hood and now need to place
a hole in top of cupboard for electrical cord to plug into power point above cupboard.
The problem is when I attach the hole saw to the drill I then cannot get the drill
in the small overhead cupboard and unable to approach from top as drill hits the
    ceiling.

Not looking forward to trying a chisel.

    Any suggestions.

    Thanks.

    Something like this might help.

It's 120mm from the face of the open chuck to the rear of the gearbox, but you need to allow for the holesaw as well.

    That's pretty nifty.

I'll do the measurements and see what happens.

Are these a Bunnings thing ?

    Thanks.

I would think so, if not , Ebay has them.

I just Googled it the other night for the pic, there were heaps of adds for them.
