Both are right. Our shower has no preformed base and we have a fixed glass screen (1800x800). Equally we could have used a preformed base. But couldn't find one in the size we wanted.
Hi Everybody,
I've had conflicting advice given regarding the requirement of a shower base. The new bathroom floor is timber and is going to be tiled, plan to have a frameless 900*900 screen installed.
Two retailers have said I need to have the floor of the shower tiled and that no base is to be used. Another has said that a base can be used as long as it's self supporting, therefore not having to be checked into the wall.
Anyone come accross this before? And happen to know the real answer? =)
