Default Waterproofing for a frameless shower screen

    Hi guys

I am the process of renovating my bathroom.

I have waterproofed all the walls and have finished the wall tiles..

I am just about to start tiling the floor and they will be laid on a concrete slab. Is there any need to waterproof on top the slab around the entire area where the frameless shower will be installed.

    Thanks

Ideally the waterproofing membrane should be done on both the walls and the floor as a single continuous membrane to ensure that the whole area remain "water tight". I would certainly put down a membrane on the floor, but doing it after the walls have been done may lead to waterproofing "issues".
    Cheers.

    Vernon.
