Default Can you paint powder coated aluminium cladding???

    Hi.
Hope someone out there can help us.
We have an unusual house, it is built from solid 4 inch timber boards which have been coated with white powder coated aluminium on the outside. (Is a kit home that came from New Zealand) We want to update and change the colour, but not sure if the aluminium can be painted.
Can you successfully paint over aluminium cladding so that it lasts without the paint peeling off, and if so how would we do it??
    Thanks

Yes. You'll need to give it a good clean to get rid of the dirt and salt - even better would be a sand or a light sand blast. Then hit it with a good quality external primer/undercoat and then a top coat
