    Default Mini orb sander

Can anyone recommend a mini orb sander for a multi tool or a machine. The ceiling in my bathroom needs sanding back and painted with the correct paint. TIA

Something to suit a multi tool or similar ? deer with no eyes.(noeyedeer)

Use scotch brite pads available in bulk and good quality from any good paint outlet.

    eg https://www.amazon.com.au/Scotch-Bri...44611908&psc=1

That puts a different light on it, I thought you were after a small orbital sander to do your ceilings.

With this forum, pictures tell a thousand words.
Is the mini orb raw or painted, gal or Zincalume, what condition is the paint, what type of paint, any possibility the paint is lead based ?

I have been meaning to upload a photo when I can access a computer. Dosnt have that option on my phone.

Yes paint is led base, house it 114 years old. Bathroom is 5mX5m. Ceilings are 4.2m high.
Ceiling in pretty good condition. Paint and undercoat is flaking off.

I been in the house 2 years and I want to make a start and prep n paint it.

I have all my correct PPE for led and I had to use it in some of the other rooms I prepared and painted

25 square metres of mini orb is going to take a very long time to sand back correctly if it's already flaking off, you would have to remove all the paint completely to ensure a sound surface. Have you considered sheeting over it with either new mini orb or other material?
Or if you want to keep the original mini orb is it possible to remove the sheets without damaging them, strip them with paint stripper then refit?
Airless spray gun with a lance is the best way to paint any corrugated sheets.

Do not sand, use a paint stripper if you want to keep the original.

    Or re-sheeting over the top.

Led is perfectly safe, "Lead" however is not safe when sanded into small particles unless you are 100% sure you can catch and filter the lot as well as wearing a breathing apparatus designed for sanding Lead.
Many people just wear a mask and make no concerns about all the dust going through the rest of the room or house.
I wouldn't like to be using paint stripper overhead on a 4.2 metre high ceiling that's for sure, that's why I suggested removing the sheets or re-sheeting over with new stuff.

A heat gun and a wire brush may work on that, or even a wire brush on an angle grinder or drill?
Any paint that doesn't get removed will probably be ok to paint over with something like this https://www.bunnings.com.au/dulux-4l...E&gclsrc=aw.ds

There does not look to be any gloss on the existing paint than needs to be scuffed up.
I would think that at 4.2 metres up a good scrub with wire brush a wash down with sugar soap then prime and topcoat and you would not be able to see any gains with any extra effort spent.
