I want to paint over some white melamine MDF panels. Preferably with a black or grassy green colour paint. These panels are new. I was thinking there would be paint adhesion problems and would scratch off very easily. Would coating them with something like bitumen paint first help ? The finish on the paint doesnt have to look pretty, i just want to get rid of the white colour. Or is there something i could use so that the top colour coat will stick well. Thanks.
Thanks, I will get some of that and try it. Im pretty sure its gonna work.
There are primers / paints designed specifically for this from various manufacturers.
