Question Sealant for paint on decorative panels

    Hello all,

Firstly, I am so glad I found this forum just now. Now I don't need to go to Bunnings for advice

I bought a bunch of 2nd hand decorative panels that I am currently stripping back and hand-painting (slowly!) before I put them up on the ceiling. At the rate I'm going, it's going to be a good 12 months before it's complete and ready to go. So, what I want to know is....

Is there a product I can use to paint/spray over the panels to protect them from dust?

I'm hoping it's not an undercoat

Dust is going to settle on the surface of anything and no paint is going to help. So keep them covered, and use a soft brush or your vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment if they get dusty.
