Default Finishing plasterboard around timber stairs

I'm on the final stretch of my 18 month reno, and have this bit to complete.

As you can see in the pic, I have a sheet of plasterboard to the left of the stairs. How would you typically finish around the stringers and top tread? Obviously there will be a bit of movement in the stairs with people walking on them, so was curious as to the best way to marry the plasterboard into the stairs.

    Cheers

Sorry, I can’t help you I’m just very keen to know the answer and am putting this here to make sure I get notified of any responses.

FWIW, what I do with those plaster-to-wood joins is fit some more timber blocks to give me something to screw to, fix the gyprock with a gap of about 6mm. fit metal plasterers bead to the edge, set that, then bog up the gap with flexible filler. I’m sure a genuine plasterer will come along shortly with a better solution.

The stair manufacturer should supply trim for this purpose. The plasterboard should be finished close against what is there and neatly trimmed with same type of timber. Done in a way so any movement doesn't form a crack with the trim sliding down over the lining. I usually rip beading out of stock for things like this you may also need additional timber to fix it to under the tread.

That looks good. How about the side of the stringer? Some quad that matches perhaps?
