    Default Reoccurring Plaster Cracks in Steel Framed House

    Help please, the horizontal joins in my plasterboard walls are all cracked. I have repaired a few of them but in only a few weeks the crack reappears. I've scrapped out the join, filled with a base coat and then finishing cement. I think it may have something to do with the movment in the steel frame - not as forgiving as wood but I'm only guessing.

    Is there a flexible product I could fill the cracks with?

    We built this house 3 years ago and I'm at the point of tearing my hair out.

    What did you repair it with?

    You need to repair it with paper tape or it will just keep cracking.
