Default Best flexible grout or grout additive please....

    I'm going towards a 2 or a 3mm gap and a 600mm tile outside on my patio.
Base is 18mm fibre cement board on a steel frame and I'm using conflex adhesive.
Tiles are in direct sun and the fibre cement does have a a little give across the 12ft span.
We're temperate here - so absolute minimum will only be 5degC, but direct sun max could be closer to 60degC
I'm thinking that'll transpire into about 0.1-0.2mm per 600mm tile...the 2-3mm of grout needs to accommodate this from both directions (adjacent tile) - that's about a 10% change in the grout gap.

To ensure my grout survives, I'd like to get a grout with the best "extensibility"....

    TIA

urethane type grout is the most flexible but good luck finding it in oz
grout boosters do work but prob not enough for what u want.
because u have small joints i would use epoxy grout as it will make all ur tiles very solid (no flex)

btw u need to use a 2 part glue like ardex isoflex

Look for one of the rubber based 'out door specific' tile glues, it should provide some movement tolerance.

    Good luck and fair winds.
