screed is just sand and cement, I don't think your tiles will be stuck for long....
talked to the tiler today, he mentioned that the floor tiles will be put down using the screed as the adhesive. Is this recommended? The base is concrete which is about 4 inch thick.
sorry for the ramble.

30 years ago it was the norm. todays tiles are not designed to be wet bedded , so I wouldn't recommend it.
btw wet bedding tiles is done by making a wet mortar mix. apply the screed and wait for the water to form on the surface sprinkle
powdered cement over it and press the tile onto it. If done properly and with tiles designed for it , the bond can be immensely strong.
hi i am a tiler and i am doing tiling for few years u can do the tilers on concrete but using rubber glue and adding some bondit to the mix to make the glue stronger and stick more to the concrete but that doesnt mean the concrete is level so he has to level the tiles qhile tiling it wich may take him to use more glue in some areas to make it look straight and less in some places to adress a fall to the floorwaste
