    Default Double Mesh Under Tiled Areas?

    On my plans it has the words;

    "Add layer of SL72 under top mesh to any tiled areas typical"

    Why is there a second layer and do I have to do this?

    Probably to try and stop as much concrete shrinkage as possible.
    There was a post here recently of a tiled floor popping up due to concrete shrinkage.

    Or is it to help stop the concrete from curling.

    Concrete can keep shrinking for more than 30 years.

    For what mesh costs I'd double layer it in tiled areas even if it didn't specify it
