    Default Duck poop driveway

I have a neighbour who has just moved into a new house, the concrete driveway is being attacked by ducks pooping and she is worried about the driveway being stained.
Would a practical solution (other than killing all the ducks in the neighbourhood ) be to seal the concrete, or is there another option ?
Also how to get any existing stains out ?

    Regards
    Keith

    Is the driveway already sealed?

Driveway concreting sites suggest various options: this one talks about the kinds of products that can be used safely:

I would just get out there with a bucket and brush!

If you use a pressure washer, be careful it’s not too strong.

...had a simular issue where the ducks would venture in at night under the verandah.
Trained the Border Collie to chase them off solving that one!!!

The poop though does leave a stain on unsealed concrete and worse the longer its left. Seems like that it eventually fades.

I am certain ducks can produce three times their body weight in poo and are excellent at spray painting the stuff. Like the dog idea, I got rid of the duck.

You can get movement operated hoses for scaring away birds. They work quite well. (Various options on Amazon etc..)

I prefer the border collie however. Ours is very effective scaring away the swamp hens that fish in the pond at our deck.
