Default Hardening cement in a patio

    Hello,
I am new to the forum and need help with a patio that has been laid by a bad builder. It is by my swimming pool and every time wet feet touch the cement between the crazy paving they get grey powder all over them. The mix is obviously too soft but it was only laid 3 months ago and the builder is refusing to redo it. Is there a product that I can paint onto the cement to harden it? It will take weeks and lots of money to scrape it out and start again, and this will probably ruin the pool filter as the dust will fill the pool.
    Any advice gratefully received.
    Thanks!

Try to source a sealer which is suitable, use something that wont change the appearance

alternatively, you could try tiling over the lot...
    hope this helps!

It's posible the builder used neat cement powder, instead of a sand/cemnt mix. Try pushing some fine snd into the cracks with a stiff broom, then spray with a fine mist of water. If the sand particles can bind with the cement, it may help.
This is only a wild suggestion, and may not work, so try a small area first, if you want to.

We've developed a product that strengthens mortar joints in brickwork. MR1300 is a polymer based penetrating binder. It may work for you?
