Default Covering up internal electrical wall chasing

    Hi

I have chased some electrical prelays into a brick wall and have covered up with a base coat render. What is the best mix/product to use as a top coat (or skim coat) before painting? Can I use a normal paperboard plaster skim coat? Or even a polly filla product?

    Thanks
    Dane

You need to use what ever was used on the rest of the wall if you want it match. Is it smooth, sand mix?

OK, the top coat is a smoothish cement render (grey). So I might use a mix with less sand.
