    Default patio area roof

I've got some cracking and warping where the patio roof meets the supports, I've just put some polyfila but not sure if it need abit more than just a gap filler for the longer term.

Whatever you do trying to fill the gaps will fail as the movement rates of the render and beam will always be different. A good plan may be to run more of the square section trim that matches the top ones around the beams. Fix only to the beams, and this will allow for movement.
    And.....your point is.....what exactly?

do you mean carry on the trim down the beams so it covers up the vertical cracks? I had'nt thought of that but im not sure how you'd get it looking neat seeing as theres also cracking at the bottom of the beams also the existing trim has warped abit where it meets the roof so it would probably all have to be replaced and then extended.

Yep, go down the vertical join and around the bottom and back up the other side. Up to you but could be a great time to remove all and replace with new trim. Little bit of skill required to remove the back of the trim where it will go over the existing "L" edging, but nothing a couple of practice pieces won't fix..
Planing the corner of the trim that will sit up to the 90 degree wall/beam junction at 45 degrees, removing 3mm or so, will give you some room for the current messy crack/join to go.
