Default advice on correct rail size

for a 1800 high timber paling fence, would 100 x 35 hwd rails be enough to span about 3100mm between (existing) posts? thanks.

Whilst the BCA specifies a maximum post spacing of 2700mm, we sell 75x50 F11 hardwood for up to 3 metre spans so I imagine 3100mm would be ok with it or 100x38mm if thats what you have though 100x50 would probably be better

I agree 100x50 hardwood would be a better choice.
