I have friends in Adelaide who had trouble with vandals setting the fence on fire, twice.
Good luck.![]()
Hi,
I'm looking for some advice...one side of my property has a walkway and i'm looking to replace the existing delapitated pine fence with brushwood. It will need to be at least 1.8m height to deter nosey dog-walkers. It will be against the full length of the property, more than 20m. Since the walkway belongs to the council, i think i will have to fund the whole project
Colourbond will make me feel trapped inside a tin box and possibly attract up and coming artists, and therefore thought brushwood would be better.
Before i run off and get quotes, is there stuff i need to be aware against getting brushwood? Would appreciate any advice.
Thanks
Nelum

Growing old is compulsory, growing up is not.

Yes vandals can be a problem setting fire, some time ago it was a big rage to set fire to a brush fence.
You can now purchase a brush panel approx 50mm thick that has been coated with a fire retardent depending on what style brush fence you are after.
