    Default mini-orb screen

I need to build a 2.4m wide x 1.5m high screen to hide my pool equipment. I'd like to use 3 x mini-orb sheets with the ribs running vertically. Ideally it would only have end posts as a centre post would end up being where the pipework runs. I'm thinking of routing slots into timber top and bottom rails to capture the mini orb.

I'm thinking 140 x 35 treated pine for the top and bottom rails. Would that be stiff enough to span 2.4m?

    Hi
I'd go with 100 x50 treated pine just to be on the safe side.

I'm not saying 140 x 35 will not work but after slotting it and the weather over time might take it's toll on it.

    Hi,
I was worried about the horizontal rails sagging over the 2.4m span, hence I upped the depth to 140mm. I might increase the thickness as well and use 140x45. I was going to use MGP10 rather than the ''wet'' stuff.
