    Default AEG - 18V Li-Ion 3 Pce Combo Kit for $199 trade

I've got a good Dewalts drill/driver set, but this seems cheap with a hundred bucks off RRP and I want a radio when I'm working outside.
What do people think of this combo?

If I could buy it for that I would. The batteries are almost worth that much alone, the radio though, something I would never use.

The radio is rubbish, but the rest is good,

If you want a good radio go for the Digital Makita, compact but loud and clear.
But at $139 is almost the same price as the above deal.

Seems very good value, I have been impressed with the quality of AEG, when they were blue & now the orange ones, radio would probable be acceptable to carry around the yard with you, but probably not good enough to turn on & leave in one spot on-site (that you could here it from everywhere)
Lashings will continue until morale improves.

Tried to get one of these deals in the Mentone and Moorabbin stores yesterday but was told stocks were sold out Tuesday and Friday respectively. So close.....

Agree that the radio is pretty ordinary. But bought the kit anyway, using it as a spare to my dewalts. Also bought a heated jacket as well, costing almost as much as the combo.

Bought mine from Nottinghill Friday. The tool shop guys there said they ran out, but told me there were 5 listed in Morrabbin. Anyway I went around to the trade desk, they had one there. May be you should give them a call and ask for the trade desk and quote the iterm no. I/N 6230174. I was still getting email from them like the picture below as late as Friday night.
