Default HELP need grout pump (engineers grout not tiler's grout)

i have a heap of fire rated door frames which we are retro fitting into core filled block walls, while in the past we were able to use fire rated foam as a filler but this time they want grout filled, can be done with 1/2 a coke bottle and a bucket,

we have found this one but its about 2k,

grout pumps, grout pump, handy-grout, handy grout, handygrout hand operated grout pump, air powered grout pump, dealer program

anyone with a cheaper version or an idea how to DIY one up. even better if it had a motor

    G'day,

You can get air operated grease guns, you'd need to refill it often though...

just get a yabbie pump from a fishing store & use a bucket to draw the grout from, I used this method to take the wet top grout off a few hundred 300mm dia' bored piles instead of jackhammering the tops off once set, so it should work in reverse for your situation.
    regards inter

I'd go the grease gun and 20 lt bucket option I reckon As long as you are careful with the drum and dont put a dent in it they pump great.

The one at work is great for the 30 odd grease points on our cnc machine. Being air operated you can lower the pressure so you don't blow out the small grease lines that lead to where the grease needs to be. Only takes a standard cartridge though. We also have a smaller one that you put the grease out of a tub directly into the gun.
I had a life, but my job ate it...
