Default Cost to certify rooftop anchor points

    Hi,
Our 7 floor unit block has a flat concrete roof. We recently had 16 rooftop anchor points installed when having the entire building repainted.
Not sure how often they need to be recertified and what that cost would be.

Could recertification just be done prior to each use, as that is only expected to each 5 - 10 years.
Any advice would be appreciated, thanks

I believe you should be asking the question of the installers along with the following

    (1) Who installed the anchor points
    (2) Did they certify them or have them certifyed by others
    (3) Do you have a cert certificate from them or the certifyer
    (4) Did they drill through the waterproofing membrane and have they guaranteed the sealing of the anchor points
    (5) Are the anchor points certifyed for a certain weight/structure eg swinging stage, abseiler etc

Get the answers these questions then contact your local Workplace Health and Safety department and ask the question you have asked here because in all honesty they are the only ones who can answer your question, and do it in writing so you have something in writing in return, maybe!.

You do not need opinions from a forum on a question as important as this where lives may be at risk.
