    Default Roof Flashing Question

    Hi fellas,

dont know if this is the right area for this post but it was the only section which had roofing in it.

I have a bit of a simple question for those of you who have a little bit of experience with roof flashing.

There are a few sections on my roof where the wood is looking rather weathered. Instead of replacing the wood in these areas I was thinking of covering them with flashing. If I do this though I was wondering what the best way to attach the flashing to the wood is? Should I use a product such as liquid nails?

I assume you are talking about some sort of barge board (e.g. on gable ends)

I was contemplating this type of thing for a friend and their flat roof and they went and sold the place before we got to it

What I was going to do was order barge flashing to the specific size to be able to replace the current barge flashing and cover the large barge boards. It would have had a profile similar to the attached.
