    Default file upload manager problem

I've tried to upload PDF in advanced mode. It seems to black out the image.

A PDF file requires a non native viewer to see what's inside the file, if you click on the file it will ask you to open it in an approriate viewer installed on your local machine.

If you just want to put up an image and it's in PDF format you could convert it to Jpg here PDF to JPG online converter - Convert PDF to JPG for FREE , then upload this.

I found this confusing once before as the upload does (or did) allow you to specify PDF files!?

I don't think the Advanced allows you to specify file types, you just pick what file you want now.

It never used to do this. Something has changed.

Ok, it seems to have only blacked out the blank part of the PDF.

By the way, on a Mac computer all I have to do is open the PDF in the Preview App and save as other file type, such as jpeg. No need for extra apps.

    Yay Mac!

Tried it a few times, have no intentions of tryig it again, it does not offer me anything over and above Win 7, except a headache to use, which I can do without.
Hopefully they get rid of that stupid Metro phone interface once and for all, after all it's a desktop not a phone, lets hope they get it right in Win 10.

They need to look at Apple as an example, keep your desktop and phone OS'S seperate.
