    Default visually improving the experience

Just wondering if it's possible to use the same method as on the home page to distinguish between read and unread posts. The icon to the left being either grey for read posts and orange-ish/red? for unread posts. Can this be used rather than a double page icon for unread and a single page icon for read. Would make it easier at a glance. Does anyone else find this slightly difficult or is it just me and I'll get used to it?

    Cheers, Su.

    h Su,

does this depend on the theme you are using? cause I can't quite relate to what you are saying.
anyway, I just click the 'new posts' tab to see what I haven't read since the last visit.

ah Understand what you mean now...
didn't because i have a particular method of visiting the site:
    click 'new posts'
open in a new tab any threads I am interested in
    click 'mark forums read'
go read the posts I am interested in.

Yeah, ok. That would be a good way to go about things. I'm sort of getting used to it already anyway. It's just retraining my brain to look for different cues. Finding it an overall better experience and happy with how much faster everything is working.

Wish I knew why everyone is finding it faster. For me getting to the first link is slower than before. From there no speed difference at all.

For me in the past it has been sooo slow but I always figured it was my internet connection, being in rural location. Now it's probably just normal.

I don't find it any better than before, still not working properly for me when ever I type anything I still have to press that A/A button on top left else a third of my keystrokes don't even get registered as being pressed and back space button doesn't work still. wish I could default all replies so I don't have to press that A/A button all the time.
