Default cutout in concrete floor (of roof apartment)

Hello everyone. First post here. Hope this is the correct subforum.

I have an apartment with a private roof which is made of concrete. I would like to made a cutout in the roof .One picture shows the location of the cutout on the roof, another shows what the roof looks like from the underside.

I will of course consult a structural engineer before doing anything, but before approaching someone, I would like to know whether my idea is crazy.

    Thank you

I am 100% certain it is my roof. My questions revolve really around the structural integrity after I make a cutout.

Hard to say without knowing the layout of the steel and the size they used. A local engineer will be able to tell.
Is your location Israel? Do you have seismic activity?

Integrity will depend on its construction.

Do you know if it is a pre tensioned slab? if not do you have a plan for the reinforcing mesh in the slab or have the equipment to scan the slab for its placement?
Engineer should be the first point of call.

Yes in Israel. Wasn't aware this was an Aussie focused forum as site didn't end in au. Not much seismic activity in the area, but they say the region is hundreds of years overdue for a big one.

I don't know. I can try to locate the architect that designed the building. I know the contractor is no longer in business. Will speak to an engineer.
