I did this a couple of years ago, I used a epoxy coating from Par-Chem. No non slip additive, it is fine unless it is wet and is easy to clean. Not as hard as I thought it would be, I am pretty rough with it though, with lots of metalworking and welding it is getting chipped/burnt, but its reasonably easy to just fill those and re-coat in a couple of years when it gets bad. For just woodworking you will be fine and it should hold up well, I would skip the non slip because that will just make cleaning up harder.
Some tips:
- Use a good natural fibre roller, synthetic ones will break down and get stuck in the coating (not good trust me)
- Have a friend or two to help you, the stuff goes off reasonably quickly
- Prep/tape all the edges before mixing
- May need 2 coats to get decent coverage, from memory I used 2 x kits (8L each??) for 12mx6m
- Use some epoxy with a filler ( fine sand) to fill any cracks/chips before putting the coating on
