    Default Painting flashing

You know that flashing you can buy. Shiny on one side and very sticky on the other. It's really good stuff, but oh, so shiny on the outside. My shed is brown/green/doeskin and blends in nicely in the garden. To make the verandah part waterproof, I have sealed it with Alsinite/Laserlite (Brand names) which is clear, to make a potting shed. I've used the flashing around the edges/joins which has done the job. I'd like to maybe use a spray paint can to soften the reflectivity. Do you think that'll work or will I need to undercoat first so that the paint binds?

Apply a coat of Flood Co. "ESP"before painting.
