Default No reveals provided by aluminium windows supplier

I've just got the quotation from the supplier of aluminium
windows and there are no reveals provided
    I
checked with that company and they said they don't provide reveals.
    I'm
worried if it makes the problem for the builder?
    Can builders make or source
    these reveals?
    Please advice

Usually the window manufacturers ask what size reveals you need, i.e. for brick or timber construction.

If you're not committed, I'd try someone else specifying that reveals be included.

They can be added after, but the builder probably won't want to be bothered with it.

    G'day,

+1 for Bedford, to many variables, they need to be on so they can get the plaster flush and nail off properly.

I'm really upset that they don't do the reveals. I'm not comitted yet but the gave me a really low price as to compare from other companies.

So usually builders don't want to be bothered with these reveals?

Some companies just don't supply reveals.
Any carpenter worth his salt can supply and install the windows, whether or not the reveals are supplied with them, or he must supply them. At least if you supply them, you can get something better than the cheap **** reveals that most Al windows seem to come with these days.
Talk to the builder and see what he says. Probably a good idea to get 3 quotes anyway.
    good luck,
    TM

Reveals are nothing more than 4 sticks of timber! A builder or DIYer should have no concerns about mounting a window in a frame regardless. If the price is right and the window quality is OK - which is more critical than the supply of reveals - then go with them.
