Great idea - used to be called a working bee - and builds community as well as getting work done - what a great initiative. Pity you are so far away ....
Hi, I live in Thornlie, a suburb south of Perth. I'm looking for interested tradies/handymen with a professional approach to group together and help each other renovate/build each others houses/properties.
It may be some gardening or concreting or a patio installation, the list is endless. Tradies would be useful but not essential.
The idea is for a group of 5 guys to help each other out for free - many hands make light work.
If you're interested please contact Pete on (ph nbr deleted - OP request)
experience in painting, laying laminated floor boards, installing bathroom vanities, small area tiling.

Good idea but rarely works. One guy will nearly always have lots of experience or even be qualified while everyone else is a well meaning amature (WMA). The qualified/experienced guy has all the tools etc... and ends up feeling a bit used by everyone. Lots of arguments too.
Spot on Ringtail, great way to break up friendships
