Nothing in this place is standard. We had long been suspicious of the electrical work purely based on the variety of GPOs spread around the place and the way they were installed. sparky was gobsmacked by the wiring behind these and spent quite a time rectifying what he could. It's going to be expensive but worth every penny. Se

wish it was that simple metrix. sparky is scratching his head as we speak with a problem he can't find yet. he'll get there.

looks like it. whoever did it, named it the other way around to how we refer to it. B is for the part of the house closest to the front though and F is at the back.

Morning folks. our power just tripped out the RCD and refuses to go back on. have called the electrician and he will be here this afternoon. in the meantime, i am trying to isolate the issue. have pulled all plugs out and turned off all GPOs. have isolated it to one particular circuit on the board and it is labelled F P1. its in the second position on the board. first is B P2, then L1, AC, Cook top and Oven. L1 is lights, AC is air con, Cooktop and oven are self explanatory. So, what are the B...

Fair points. No idea on the first one. Trench will be dug ready for sparky to place conduit and wire in. Container will have framed interior walls ready for lining. Travel time won't be great so can be excluded from any estimate provided on here.

Anyone able to give an idea of cost to wire up a shopping container to use as an office. Has to be safe (obviously), and able to run a 2.5kw air con and internal lights and a couple of GPOs. It's a 20footer and will be positioned about 10 metres from the power board outside. Se
