Unless things have changed recently I believe the rules are open for work under $5000 in value if you contract the work & if it's on your own house the only limiting factor would be needing a DA & a owner builder permit, then there is no limit. inter

i got one of those as well, the impact driver trigger lost the variable speed so it's flat out or nothing & only one battery is half decent, I built one battery out of two with the cells that were still ok, I use that one in a torch. the drill is on the second set of brushes which I got off cheesebay for $10. That thing has done some work, day after day all day using three battery's in rotation auger drilling HWD posts & beams, boxes of 75mm roof batten screws into HWD with no pre drilling...

I have half a dozen of the makita 18v knockoff batteries and had a few paslode ones as well, they have all performed equal or better than the originals, some of my makita originals have failed with bugger all use , so that's why I tried the knockoffs. inter

Of course the anti vax forgers will work out a way to get around it momentarily, but it will be short lived & those caught forging it will pay a very heavy price. Even more so if covid catches up with them. inter

The idea is to self isolate if the test is positive, when the bulk of the population is vaccinated it slows the spread, there the death rates are down to ordinary flu levels now & the unvaccinated are the victims of it. inter

The entry inside where the door swings needs to be kept at the original floor height, you just need to be a little creative on how you do it to your taste with the floor finish, DO NOT cut the door down. inter

The depth and diameter of the holes is dependent on the foundation material & the steepness of the slope, the posts will sink easily into 80mm slump concrete , you will probably have more of a problem accurately locating the post where it is supposed to be the base, a better way is to stand the post first then brace it. inter

I've already given a couple remedies for the situation without even making contact with the builder, there could be many defects in the frame & truss connections, but from the provided pictures, with no technical details people are just speculating. inter

That's an interesting slant trying to coverup wanting and expecting non contractural things from a builder.

I'm in the country and doing it for ~2k per m2, amateurs speculating on a couple of photos showing not much detail with no documentation is interesting to put it mildly, professionally educated builders providing documents they are not required to produce outside the contract wouldn't be all that common these days, for a volume builder there would be 3 chances of getting something like that, slim ,buckleys & SFA. Your neighbor should have got engineer #2 in the first place, as they are...

Without the truss installation diagram and the photos provided, nobody here can really comment whether the work is incomplete or not, the OP later has said there are no L brackets installed which is not a good sign, there are 3 types of builders out there, astute, dopey & dodgy , so it is pointing towards the latter, I would suggest he raises his concerns with the certifier, the contract will state at what stages funds are released to the builder, if they are making a claim & completion of...
