pricing is per treatment generally - costs are hidden, but in general number of patients treated for an expensive drug is the important bit - double doses dont achieve double pricing anecdote isnt how policy is put together. for the 30yr old - they will look for risk factors - there are some neurological diseases that increase risk of this age group as if they were 60. The random ones wont be considered. I'd expect that 60+ will get boosted early, 50's maybe, 40's unlikely. The...

On the booster. We have definitely bought enough to ensure that - but that is risk management - it was entered into months ago way before we knew whether we would need boosters , and whether the vaccine would need to be redesigned - ie the talk from moderna back in May was that they would redesign for delta, and were looking for a 2021 release of a more targetted vaccine. This seems to have gone to the wayside recently - maybe the FDA wouldnt approve quickly enough. OTOH, Albert...

The JCVI seemed not to support even young teenagers in their statement last week " Prof Wei Shen Lim, chairman of Covid immunisation for the JCVI said it was "taking a precautionary approach"."The margin of benefit is considered too small to support universal Covid-19 vaccination for this age group at this time. "The committee will continue to review safety data as they emerge," he added. Paediatricians say that healthy children with Covid end up in intensive care at a rate of two...

this one "(18 months in to the current pandemic, BTW) is actually just the natural consequence of what humanity has collectively done since ~1980? That's when communism 'failed' and western guvmints unleashed so called "free markets" for the first time in modern history." Pick something that actually can be related to your cause, but nt just list every ill you can think of, and say because capitalism Just doesnt make for an intelligent argument - especially pandemic and extremism. ...

pharmaboy2 replied to a thread Pier/deck bearer size? in Decking
this depends in the F rating of the timber. tables dont tend to go to 3600 spans for bearers, but you may notice that genereally on a bearer span table on a given load width, a doubling of a member moves you 3 spans up, or 900mm. on the table I'm looking at for F17 , 200x75 continuous gets you 2700 LW 3600, so will just get you to 3600 span for 3600 LW when doubled - should be able to find one that lists 3600 span somewhere witha bit of googling

Gee- there is a lot to say these days for the solar options rather than wiring. Though i just installed last night some lights for a client, and just went to bunnings and bought a whole lot of stuff by holman, but also a set of festoon lights (in LED for about $90) which really set the pergola off. The holman related garden lights though are so easy to control by app, which is a major advantage. At bunnings, the gardenglo brand of solar spots are excellent in terms of brightness. ...

You are making a link based on a belief instead of having no opinion and doing research. climate catastrophe is just as likely regardless of political system - in fact you could argue that capitalism is more likely to approve of larger scale nuclear power while liberalism has tended towards closing down of nuclear power plants. Pandemics are obviously neutral to your political beliefs - extremism likewise, as its driven by fundamentalist religion. So the question you should really be...
